Due to continued expansion, our client has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious International Sales Manager to join this food company located in the south of the Netherlands. The International Sales Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining successful business relationships in Northern Europe. In this position you will prospect and develop new customers in the retail, out of home and business to business area. You are a strong individual able to make the difference in both the “business building” activities and “customer relationships”.
Position:
• Responsible for the sales targets and prospecting, developing and managing new business within international markets;
• Developing customer activities to maximize the growth opportunities;
• Recommending on priority setting for the region and insuring flawless in-market execution;
• Negotiating with customers and prospects on prices and delivery terms;
• Consistently tracks and reviews business performance and takes action when necessary;
• Visiting international exhibitions;
• The actual role does not have direct reports, however you have the full responsibility for the customers, prospects and distributors within your area;
• Working closely together with and reporting to the Managing Director;
• Part of Management Team.
