About our client
Our client is an international listed company and active in the food industry, such as producing ingredients for worldwide known food articles. In order to further develop the production site and the R&D center they are currently looking for a Country Controller / Finance Manager.

Job description
As Country Controller you will be responsible for directing the financial controls of the company in order to support the business objectives, including all matters of accounting, treasury, Group reporting and tax
Reporting into the Finance Director EMEA, you will work closely with the EMEA headquarters in the UK as well as the Group head-office in Ireland.

As Country Controller you will be responsible for:
- the monthly management reporting + explanations;
- the month and year closings both for group and statutory purposes;
- cash flow forecasts;
- working capital management;
- budget and follow up (variance analysis, forecasts);
- CAPEX set up, monitoring and approval;
- preparation of tax returns and tax reporting;
- direct contact with the auditors, tax auhtorities and banks;
- management and supervision of the finance team comprising 6 colleagues.

Profiel:

- master in finance or commercial sciences;
- certified IAB or IBR is a plus;
- minimum 8 years experience in an all round finance function (audit, accounting, controlling);
- experience in a production environment is a necessity;
- experience in an R&D environment is a big plus;
- experience of Hyperion is a plus;
- experience with an SAP implementation is a plus;
- excellent skills with Excel;
- good management and team building skills;
- fluent in Dutch and English;
- good knowledge of BE GAAP, Belgian Tax and fiscal legislation;
- experience with IFRS
