Taken:
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer in Melexis Tessenderlo to drive further growth.
He/She will be responsible to design and develop software that will be integrated in Melexis products and applications
Accountabilities
You will design and develop software products, software components and applications to be embedded in Melexis products for Actuators, Sensors and Opto application domains as member of the Software Competence Center.
You will adopt the systems engineering methodology, systems and software development processes.

Profiel:

Job Requirements
• Deep knowledge of C/C++, Assembler, optionally Matlab/simulink, Java and script languages
• 3+ years experience in writing embedded software (real-time and interrupt-driven applications, experience with multi-threaded software is desirable)
• Ability to develop structured, well-documented code (experience in writing safe and reliable software targeted for safety-critical systems is a plus)
• Good documentation skills: ability to read and interpret higher level requirements, specifications, design and implementation documents
• Good debugging and validation skills
• Knowledge of version control, configuration management and software build and test tools
• Experience in the use of formal methods for software design is a plus
• Skills to create desktop based tools and test harnesses
Requirements
• Higher education (engineering, mathematics or similar)
• Knowledge on microelectronics
• Knowledge and experience of embedded software
• Very good knowledge of English
