Position accountabilities:
-Define an optimized test concept for Melexis products in development in cooperation with the System Architect and the Process Engineers to ensure the fastest time-to-market and an optimal product cost.
-Translate the optimized and approved test concept into a documented test solution with validation criteria within the Melexis policies and procedures.
The test solution will be implemented and validated by the Hardware- and Test Engineers in the next stage of the product development.
-Provide technical coaching to the Hardware- and Test Engineers in order to ensure correct implementation of the defined test solution.
-Evaluate the validation results created by Hardware- and Test Engineers and approve the test solution for release into manufacturing.
Use the validation results as a feedback for continuous improvement of present and future test solutions.
-Drive and document the Re-Use concept (in terms of hardware and software) at all levels of the product test development in order to reduce time-to-market and maximize product quality.
-Actively exchange knowledge in Melexis at both local and global level in the test communities. Benchmark the used test solutions against the industry evolution to maximize the technical leadership of Melexis.

Technical competencies:
-Knowledge of analog and digital electronics. Can read and understand circuit design schematics. Able to predict the behavior of the circuits. Able to use the standard Melexis design tools to analyze projects.
-Understanding Wafer processes and its related fault mechanisms
-Thorough understanding of the FMEA process and ability to moderate an FMEA team
-Knowledge of measurement techniques and screening methods. Able to select the optimal measurement and screening method. Understands the pro and contra of the measurement method used and to predict the measurement errors induced by the setup.

Qualifications:
-Master degree in electronic engineering
-7+ years test engineering or related experience
-Experience with specification and architecture of Hardware/Software systems
-Fluent in English
