Voor een klant te Maastricht zijn wij op zoek naar een VAT Accountant. Assist the VAT Compliance manager in fulfilling all the VAT requirements with respect to: Domestic VAT returns Domestic European Sales and Purchase Listings VAT returns of foreign
Accuracy of the calculations and tax return filing.Prepare domestic VAT returns (BE, NL, UK, DE, IT, CZ, FR other) Prepare European Sales and Purchase listings(BE, NL, UK, DE, IT, CZ, FR other) Prepare the foreign VAT registrations VAT returns Reconcile the VAT accounts with the VAT returns.Prepare the foreign VAT refund claims (8th EU directive) of the companies served by the EFSS in all the EU countries in order to file correctly and timely under the supervision of the VAT compliance manager. Provide follow up and answer queries of tax authorities regarding the returns and claims filed. Answer on ad hoc questions from business partners and end-users from AR and AP
Profiel:
Functie-eisen:
Preferably 1 year experience in finance accounting in an international
environment.
Degree in accounting/tax management.
Languages: English spoken and written. Any other additional EU language is
a plus. The job holder must be able to proactively contact by phone and in
written the foreign tax authorities
Good knowledge regarding accounting legislation, VAT legislation.
Good communication skills both with colleagues and internal (departments)
and external (auditors, tax inspectors, vendors) contacts.
